Barclay Damon announces Shawn Chowdhury, associate, has joined Barclay Damon’s Employee Benefits Practice Area. His primary office is New York City.

Chowdhury concentrates his practice on Internal Revenue Code and ERISA issues related to compensation and employee benefits. He has extensive experience reviewing compensation and benefit plans. Chowdhury also assists clients with benchmarking and analyzing compensation strategies and has extensive experience addressing HR and tax due diligence matters related to cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, carve-outs, and initial public offerings (IPOs). 

Prior to joining Barclay Damon, Chowdhury was a senior at Ernst & Young in New York City. He also gained experience as an associate with KPMG and as a law clerk for Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Tokyo, Japan.
