DOL Appoints Jack Towarnicky, Member of Aequum LLC, to ERISA Advisory Council

CLEVELAND -- aequum LLC, acting on behalf of 400 self-insured health plans and their participants, announces that Jack Towarnicky has been appointed to the Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans, also known as the ERISA Advisory Council. This 15-member Council provides advice on policies and regulations affecting employee benefit plans governed by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).

With more than forty years of experience in human resources and plan sponsor leadership roles, Towarnicky was appointed as an employer representative, drawing upon his benefits leadership experience at multiple Fortune 500 corporations and at the Plan Sponsor Council of America.
