DATAIR Employee Benefit Systems Names Sam Venouziou Vice President

Westmont, Ill. – DATAIR Employee Benefit Systems, Inc. announces the appointment of Sam Venouziou, EA, MSEA to Vice President. Sam has been working for DATAIR for 30 years with the last 15 focused on Defined Benefit plans. In 2021, Sam became an Enrolled Actuary. Sam will continue supporting, developing, and providing training for DATAIR’s Defined Benefit and Cash Balance systems while stepping into his new management role.

“Sam has been an integral part of developing DATAIR’s Defined Benefit system, among others,” says DATAIR’s President Aaron Venouziou. “I feel confident that he will ensure DATAIR’s growth into the future.”

Sam started working at DATAIR in high school, leaving school early through the school’s work program. After graduating from DeVry Institute of Technology in Chicago, he began programming the Windows versions of DATAIR’s systems in the late 1990s. After ten years, Sam felt he needed a change and started learning about Defined Benefit plans, realized it was a much better fit for him, and has been doing it ever since.

Sam is an Enrolled Actuary and a member of the American Society of Enrolled Actuaries. He has presented at several seminars on Cash Balance plans and Cash Balance/401k Combo plans.
