George Morrison Joins DATAIR as a Document Attorney

Westmont, Ill. – DATAIR Employee Benefit Systems is pleased to announce that George Morrison has joined the company as the new ERISA Attorney in the Document Services area. “We are excited to add George to our team of document experts,” says Kim Roberts, Vice President of DATAIR.

George got his start in the industry spending seven years as an ERISA attorney with two regional law firms in NJ. In 2002, he co-founded Continental Benefits Group, Inc., a third-party administration firm in Burlington, NJ. He continued to practice as an ERISA Attorney handling all aspects of tax-qualified and non-qualified retirement plans including plan design, plan documents, compliance issues and corrections, mergers and acquisitions, and plan terminations. After the firm was acquired in 2018, he managed a team of 75 retirement plan service consultants and managers.

George has also written articles about the impact of legislative changes on plans; IRS and DOL correction programs; and plan issues in corporate mergers and acquisitions for the Journal of Pension Planning & Compliance.

A member of ASPPA as well as the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bars, George earned his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law and his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law. George’s role will be to draft and maintain DATAIR’s retirement document while balancing and improving all the exciting changes that SECURE and beyond brings to DATAIR.
