RICHMOND, VA – January 30, 2024 – OneDigital Investment Advisors, an SEC-registered investment adviser and wholly-owned subsidiary of OneDigital ("OneDigital"), a leading insurance brokerage, financial services and HR consulting firm, today announced it has hired Amber Jones as a retirement plan consultant.   In this role, Amber will deliver customized solutions to plan sponsors and participants and develop new client relationships in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Amber Jones joins OneDigital from TIAA, where she held various roles in relationship management, financial consulting, and client relationship consulting. She managed a book of approximately 50 institutional clients, primarily in the K-12 and private university and college space, and positioned TIAA products and services to improve participant outcomes, lower costs, and increase campus engagement. She also met in person and virtually with participants to provide education and guidance on their retirement plans and investment options. She also analyzed and rebalanced portfolios to ensure clients were on track to meet their financial goals and retirement income needs. Additionally, she served as the point of contact for advisory teams and partnered with advisors to manage their clients' service, transactions, and clerical needs.

Before TIAA, Amber Jones worked as a multichannel correspondence writer and brokerage associate at The Vanguard Group. She responded to clients' emails by accurately answering their inquiries addressing their needs and concerns, and calling clients when clarification was needed or when questions were best addressed by phone. She also wrote and edited an internal departmental newsletter, which communicated company policy changes, industry information, and market and stock analysis. As a brokerage associate, she provided personalized financial guidance, recommendations, and education on products suitable for clients' long and short-term investment goals, maintained up-to-date knowledge of domestic and foreign markets, and informed clients about how current events may affect their investments.

She holds her Series 7 (General Securities) license, Series 63 (Uniform Securities), and Series 66 (Registered Investment Advisor Representative) license. She received a B.A. in Communication (Public Relations concentration) and a B.A. in Political Science (International Politics concentration) from North Carolina State University.
