FordHarrison Strengthens Employee Benefits and Labor Relations Practices with Addition of Two Esteemed Partners

Issued by FordHarrison

June 25, 2024

NATIONAL – FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that the firm recently added two partners in the firm’s Berkeley Heights and Nashville offices.

“We are thrilled to welcome Adam and Mark to the firm,” said John Monroe, FordHarrison Managing Partner. “Their expertise in employee benefits and labor relations will enhance our capabilities and play a great role in driving our firm’s growth and continued success."

Adam B. Cantor has joined the firm’s Berkeley Heights office as Partner. His legal practice focuses on advising clients on employee benefits and executive and equity compensation matters. Adam serves as a “go-to” resource for HR professionals on their day-to-day employee benefits matters. Adam brings over 25 years of experience in advising clients to the practice of law, always seeking to partner with clients in the most effective way to further their business objectives. Adam regularly provides legal counsel on matters involving employee benefits and executive and equity compensation (including deferred compensation). He represents both public and private companies, including private equity firms, hedge funds, and real estate management companies, as well as Boards of Directors and Compensation Committees, C-suite executives, investment committees for 401(k) and pension plans, financial institutions, and nonprofit organizations. Adam comes to FordHarrison from Saul Ewing LLP.

Mark H. Floyd has re-joined the firm's Nashville office as Partner. Mark focuses his legal practice on providing advice and counsel to companies on the full range of labor and employment law matters. Prior to joining FordHarrison, Mark was Executive Vice President, Crisis & Reputational Risk, for Edelman - a global communications firm, advising clients on evolving workplace trends as well as the brand and public relations risks associated with issues related to labor relations and litigation. He previously led global in-house corporate labor and employment legal teams for public and privately held national and multinational companies, from rapid-growth high-profile disruptive start-ups to well established Fortune 100 businesses. Mark also brings years of private practice labor and employment experience to FordHarrison. Mark has worked with an equally wide range of global labor models as well from work councils, labor associations, labor front groups such as work centers and industry affiliations, to traditional labor unions. His broad range of experience makes him perfectly suited for providing counsel in the full scope of labor and employment related matters to all levels of management, executive management, and Board of Directors.
