Joseph Chan and Xiaolu Xu Join the Trucker Huss Team

Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce that Joseph Chan and Xiaolu Xu have joined the firm as associate attorneys.

Joseph Chan, who previously worked at a large, multi-city law firm, concentrates his practice in the area of ERISA litigation. He represents plan sponsors, trustees, and other fiduciaries in a wide range of employee benefits cases, including class action litigation, fiduciary breach litigation, and claims for medical, disability, and pension benefits. In addition to his litigation practice, Joseph counsels clients on a variety of matters, including fiduciary responsibility and regulatory compliance. He also represents plan fiduciaries in Department of Labor investigations.

Xiaolu Xu, a credentialed lawyer in China who has also earned both a J.D. and an LL.M. degree in the U.S. and is licensed to practice in both California and New York, advises clients on a wide range of employee benefits issues, with a focus on qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans. Xiaolu assists with employee benefit plan regulatory compliance, prepares plan documents and SPDs, and provides counsel on ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, COBRA, and other federal and state laws affecting single and multiemployer pension and health and welfare plans.

The addition of Chan and Xu brings the firm to 32 legal professionals practicing solely in ERISA and employee benefits law.
