Paul Hastings Boosts Premier Executive Compensation Practice with Chicago Partner

CHICAGO – Further enhancing its Chambers Band 1-ranked global compensation, benefits, and ERISA practice, Paul Hastings LLP announced today that executive compensation lawyer Deidre Kalenderian has joined the firm as a partner in Chicago.

Kalenderian counsels companies, private equity firms, and portfolio companies on diverse employment, executive compensation, ERISA litigation, and employee benefit matters relating to corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, sales, IPOs, private equity investments, and restructurings. She also advises clients on negotiating executive employment, retention and severance, institutional investment and fiduciary responsibility, reductions in force, and change-in-control agreements, as well as the equity compensation, tax, securities, and corporate governance aspects of compensation agreements. She joins from Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

As the demand for sophisticated knowledge of matters related to compensation, benefits, tax, institutional investment, and fiduciary responsibility, reductions in force, and ERISA litigation continues to grow, Paul Hastings has added top talent across these practice areas. Kalenderian is the second recent addition following Jason Ertel, who joined two months ago as a partner in New York.
