Gomez as a strategic advisor to the company. Gomez brings more than three decades of experience working at the intersection of employee benefits and retirement policy, most recently leading the Employee Benefits Security Administration as Assistant Secretary of Labor at the U.S. Department of Labor. Her agency oversaw 801,000 retirement plans with combined assets of $12 trillion, in addition to oversight of the federal Thrift Savings Plan.
