The Cerrado Group Holds Annual Meeting

NATIONAL – The Cerrado Group held its annual meeting in Salt Lake City from August 9th to 12th.  During their time together the member firms had discussions about both collaboration initiatives including automation, efficiencies and staff training and leadership along with continued distribution in the marketplace in conjunction with their partners. 

“Our annual meeting was a review and continuation of the initiatives we set in January as I started my first full year with the group” says Theresa Conti, Executive Director of The Cerrado Group.  “The Cerrado Group is working to move not only their own businesses forward but to enable the entire TPA community to better serve and continue to be a vital part of the retirement plan industry.” 

The annual meeting included goals and discussions to build the individual firms and provide tangible business metrics.  The energy and collaboration of this group makes them a one-of-a-kind industry force and ranks them in the top 3 with most recordkeepers as a national partner.

In addition to member firms, there were partners present that support The Cerrado Group in their initiatives.  Those that were present included thirteen recordkeeping partners:   American Funds/Capital Group, Ameritas, Empower, Fidelity, Lincoln Financial, Manulife John Hancock, Nationwide, Principal, The Standard, Transamerica, T. Rowe Price, TruStage and Voya.  In addition, other sponsors and partners that were in attendance included:  Daybright Financial, Inspira Financial, Kimberlin Company, Lee CPA Group, Penchecks Trust, PlanNotice and Stax.AI. 

A review of the initiatives for this year and future goals were shared with the partners during an update session on Monday afternoon.  The support of these partners is vital for the group to remain focused on TPA growth and future of our industry.  Sharing the initiatives allowed for the involvement and continuation of our growth as an industry to continue to drive The Cerrado Group forward.
