2025 Martin Rosenberg Academic Achievement Award Presented to Top Performers

Three ASPPA professionals have been recognized for their outstanding achievements with the prestigious 2025 Martin Rosenberg Academic Achievement Award. Shannon Edwards, ASPPA’s 2026 President, announced the winners during an Oct. 28 session at the 2025 ASPPA Annual Conference in San Diego.

The winners, noted Edwards, were determined based on their performance on examinations they took in 2024.

2025 Award Recipients

The 2025 honorees are:

• Melanie A. Buschmeyer, ERPA, CPC™, QPA™, CBS™, QKA®, Compliance Consultant-Plan Documents, Kravitz, Inc. — Recognized for her performance on the CBS examination
• James Williams, QKA®, Integrated Pension Services, Inc.  — Awarded for his achievement on the QKA-2 examination
• Kurt Schremser, QKA®, Retirement Plan Consultant, Definiti LLC — Honored for excellence on the QKA-2 exam

About the Award

The Martin Rosenberg Academic Achievement Award was established in 1990. The award pays tribute to the late Martin Rosenberg, a Fellow of ASPPA, by recognizing top-performing candidates in industry examinations.

Awardees are selected based on their total score and overall exam performance. The awards reflect the academic excellence of the recipients, as well as their dedication and their contributions to the field.
