IRS, DOL Announce Adoption of Revised Form 5500 Series for 1999

[Official Guidance] Feb. 2, 2000 "The form revisions are being adopted concurrent with the implementation of a new computerized ERISA Filing Acceptance System (EFAST) to improve the forms and simplify and expedite the receipt and processing of the Form 5500 Series by relying on computer scannable forms and electronic filing technologies. The revised forms affect the financial and other information required to be reported and disclosed by employee benefit plans....
