Excerpt: Employers only have obligations towards applicable veterans who terminated employment and seek reemployment in accordance with the provisions of the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). Even then, employers are not required to rehire those veterans, but only to do so when it would be reasonable.
