Excerpt: This notice sets forth guidance regarding the election that can be made for certain multiemployer plans to defer charges with respect to net experience losses pursuant to § 412(b)(7)(F) of the Internal Revenue Code ... and section 302(b)(7)(F) of [ERISA], as added by section 104 of the Pension Funding Equity Act of 2004 (PFEA), Pub. L. 108-218.
