1 page. Excerpt: [W]e are very disturbed to learn that the Department of Energy will no longer reimburse contractors for defined benefit costs related to employees hired in the future. This will force contractors to phase out their defined benefit plans and rely exclusively on 401(k)-type arrangements for new employees. This is totally inconsistent with a coherent national retirement security policy.
