NCEO Executive Director Corey Rosen discusses new estimates on the number of employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and related plans; a new study showing that companies are granting more stock options to top executives; and a new study suggesting that that 29% of companies granting options to executives or directors between 1996 and 2002 may have engaged in backdating or other manipulative practices.
