Excerpt: [The district court for the Eastern District of Texas] observed that several federal courts have enforced contractual limitations provisions in ERISA cases.... The district court placed particular reliance on Northlake Regional Medical Center v. Waffle House, 160 F.3d 1301, 1303 (11th Cir. 1998).... [T]he 120-day period to bring a federal case did not begin to run until after the disposition of the internal appeal process.
