Excerpt: [T]he employer created and distributed the employee handbook, which referenced the plan in question as an available benefit for all its full-time employees. A review of the facts, according to the court, indicated that employees who signed and read the enrollment form and the employee handbook could have reasonably believed that the employer was offering the plan.
