Excerpt: BNA publication Daily Report for Executives reports ... that the IRS has issued Notice 2007-99, Modifying Notice 2007-7, Q&A to Incorporate Change Made by Pension Protection Act Pertaining to Distributions From Health, Accident Plans. Although BNA has text of the IRS Notice (available [from the target page]), the Notice will not be published in the Internal Revenue Bulletin until December 24, 2007. The Notice will allow for participants in self-insured plans to be considered eligible for the HELPS Retirees benefit.
