Excerpt: Though assets under management barely totaled $9 million as of last week, the Listed Private Equity Plus fund -- which invests exclusively in the publicly traded securities of private equity and venture capital firms, as well as investment banks with their own private equity funds -- is now offered by more than a dozen brokerages' 401(k) platforms, including Fidelity Institutional Funds Network and TD Ameritrade Institutional.
