Excerpt: On behalf of the American Academy of Actuaries Pension Committee, we respectfully request your consideration of our comments regarding the proposed regulations on the Determination of Minimum Required Pension Contributions (REG-108508-08). The proposed regulations provide much needed guidance regarding the new contribution rules in the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA).
