[Guidance Overview] Oct. 6, 2008 Excerpt: EESA includes direct federal restrictions and limitations, as well as new tax penalties, that will apply to executive compensation provided by financial institutions participating in TARP (collectively, the 'Compensation Provisions'). The applicable Compensation Provisions will depend on the value of the troubled assets a financial institution sells and how the sales are implemented.
