"Northwestern Mutual released a survey this week that linked the 'immediacy' of communication technology with the difficulty that some people have with long-term planning (like saving for retirement, for example). About 31% of all respondents, and 30% of baby boomers, said that they felt distracted by the constant availability of email, messaging and other data through mobile devices.
