In fact, 7% haven't started at all and 11% don't even have retirement savings goals.... Generation X may not fully understand Social Security, and only three in 10 are somewhat to very confident that it will pay out all the benefits they will be eligible to receive. Nevertheless, they are counting on it for their retirement, believing ... that one-third of their income will come from Social Security."
