Guest anico greg Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 does the same 6% contribution limit apply to the sep contributions that apply to p/s contributions if the employer is contributing more than 25% ofpay to a DB plan and the plan is not pbgc covered? I only can find mentions of DC issues when i see combo plans on irs.gov or any other site. thanks
Belgarath Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Yes. IRC 404(h)(3). If a 5305 model SEP, then you can't contribute to it while participants are accruing a benefit under another plan anyway.
