BG5150 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Does anyone have a good, updated state tax withholding chart? I think mine is from, like, 1989 or something. Thanks! QKA, QPA, CPC, ERPATwo wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a left.
david rigby Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 No guarantee that these are accurate: http://www.prudential.com/media/managed/co...ng_statetax.pdf http://www.prudential.com/media/managed/St...Withholding.pdf I'm a retirement actuary. BG5150 Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 Thanks for those. But is there a chart that show what percentages must/may be withheld? The one chart above just shows some newer rules, and the other just shows which states have mandatory or voluntary w/h. Your help is appreciated! david rigby Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I have never seen such a chart. For details of withholding rates or tables, you may have to research the Dept of Revenue for the particular state. (Remember there are a few states, such as TX and FL, that have no income tax.)
