austin3515 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 When forcing out people with less than 5K via auto rollovers, when you tell them you'll kick them out if they don't respond, do you tell them the IRA will be with Penchecks? Or is it the name of the actual custodian. I'm curious how others have handled it. Austin Powers, CPA, QPA, ERPA

Penchecks has formed Penchecks Trust Company of America, (PTCA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Penchecks, Inc., chartered by the state of South Dakota. As of Monday, 11/15/10, PTCA has adopted its new IRA document. New IRAs being established through Penchecks will now be held by PTCA as the actual custodian. So you can tell them PTCA if you want to be specific. Full disclosure, I am a shareholder in Penchecks and director of both Penchecks and PTCA. Jim I'm addicted to placebos. I could quit, but it wouldn't matter.

Thanks for the kind words. Uh oh, did I miss a message from you Bill? I'll give you a call. Thanks for the call, Jim. As I mentioned on the phone, it was just a little ribbing. Thought I was going to have to call in the big dogs for help, but the Penchecks people stepped up and solved the problem. Appreciate the call and enjoyed getting caught up! William C.
