Guest Robin Hopkins Posted June 28, 2000 Posted June 28, 2000 I thought I read last week (on BenefitsLink?) that there was a web site where you could pay to look at archived Form 5500, even one person plans. Did I make this up? HELP!!
Guest Cindyd Posted June 29, 2000 Posted June 29, 2000 You might want to try www.BenefitFinder.com/, although it's a commerical, not a government, site.
Guest Robin Hopkins Posted June 29, 2000 Posted June 29, 2000 Thanks for the idea but FreeERISA doesn't have 1 person plans. I thought it was a government sight
Guest Robin Hopkins Posted June 29, 2000 Posted June 29, 2000 Great site, thanks, but no luck. Maybe the client never filed!!
Greg Judd Posted June 30, 2000 Posted June 30, 2000 No putdown of our competitors intended, but it doesn't appear that either of the firms mentioned provide facsimilies of filings for single-employer plans (neither does my firm). Robin, if you'd like, send me an email with some client identifier info (firm name, address, EIN if available) & I'll check our data files for the filing you're trying to locate. Free, of course. At that price it can't hurt to get a second opinion. Greg Judd gjudd@biginsights.com benefits information group [This message has been edited by Greg Judd (edited 06-29-2000).]
Guest Robin Hopkins Posted June 30, 2000 Posted June 30, 2000 Greg, I think you are correct. But I swear I saw a reference that specifically mentioned one person filings HELP
Guest Robin Hopkins Posted June 30, 2000 Posted June 30, 2000 Thanks to Greg judd's help I think I have clarified that the client never filed. Thanks to all of you.
