Chippy Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 A golf pro would like to take a hardship for "professional development". It's a class to further his golf career. Would this be considered under education for the hardship rules?
BG5150 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 See this thread. It has a link to an IRS publication that deals with educational deductions. http://benefitslink.com/boards/index.php?/topic/28856-hardship-withdrawals-for-post-secondary-education/ QKA, QPA, CPC, ERPATwo wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a left.
