If you click on the icon that's circled in red in the screen shot (the side that's not already black), do you get the view that you prefer?

Dave, I think that icon appears only if you are logged in.  I could not find it until I realized I was not logged in.   I agree the new view is difficult.

It is only different for me when I go to my bookmark which defaults on the main message board page.  Once I click on my custom stream it all looks pretty much the same.

I don't mind the new look, it is just a little different.

You're right about the log-on needed in order to get back to the tabular view -- thanks.

I have set the default view to be the tabular view, as before.

About the only difference I noticed was the heart icon with count of "likes" replaced the text box of "x people liked".  Still doesn't list the names (like facebook).
