QDROphile Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Another contact would be the 401(k) plan administrator. "Plan administrator" is a term that is used to mean several things, unfortunately, including a service provider that may be a mutual fund company, a brokerage company, an insurance company, or another financial institution. Who communicates to you about your account in the 401(k) plan? If you contact the employer, which is a good start, the employer may refer you to the plan administrator.
