COVID-19 Guidance for Health Plans: Putting It All Together!

Trucker Huss

May 28, 2020
Recorded Online
Webinar

PRESENTERS:  Mary Powell, Sarah Kanter, and Lindsay Docto

This webinar will provide an overview—plus some insights—on the new legislation, regulations and other guidance that has recently been issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The new guidance has left many plan sponsors feeling overwhelmed and confused about which changes are required, which changes are merely permissive and how it will actually all work in the real world. This webinar will bring the rules and guidance relating to the health plans together into one place! The speakers will discuss:

  • The changes required and permitted by the Families First Coronavirus Relief Act and the CARES Act;
  • The practical implications of the extensions to certain timeframes related to COBRA, HIPAA special enrollment and the filing of claims;
  • Guidance regarding the permitted election change rules for cafeteria plans; and
  • An update on what to expect in upcoming legislation.
