President Biden has announced that the COVID-19 National Emergency and the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency declarations will terminate on May 11, 2023. This webinar will address how the termination of these declarations will impact employee benefit plans and their participants. Among the topics covered will be the impact on distribution and loan provisions under tax-qualified retirement plans, the effect on appeal deadlines under ERISA, and the possible need for plan sponsors and administrators to update plan-related documents and employee communications.
