TPApril Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 just wondering - do Plan Sponsor's generally sign the Safe Harbor Notice, or do they just get sent out as applicable?
MWeddell Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 I don't believe I have ever seen a safe harbor notice signed. I tend to work with sponsors of large plans. Luke Bailey 1
Bird Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 The notice does not need to be signed. Depending on how the plan is set up, there may be other documentation that needs to be signed - an amendment - if it is a SHNE "maybe" or "not" with an annual change to "yes" when desired.
