Excerpt: The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to review a California Supreme Court ruling upholding a state law requiring group health insurance plans that provide prescription drug benefits to include contraceptive coverage. That law was challenged by Catholic Charities of Sacramento Inc., which alleged the mandate violated its constitutional rights to religious freedom.
