The NCEO presents excerpts from the newly released third edition of the book How ESOP Companies Handle the Repurchase Obligation, featuring essays on various aspects of repurchase obligation as well as the results of the NCEO's 2005 survey on what companies are doing. Among other things, the survey found that compared to 1999, fewer private ESOP companies have a formal repurchase plan now.
