Excerpt: ERIC has prepared a summary of the pension related provisions contained in the recommendations issued by the President's Advisory Panel on Federal Tax Reform. The Reform Panel's Report was issued on November 1, 2005. The summary explains the treatment of employer sponsored retirement plans under the proposed Save At Work, Save for Retirement, and Save for Family accounts, and discusses the expanded Saver's Credit.
