Excerpt: The IRS has announced the opening of the program which allows individuals to obtain the ERPA designation. An individual who has obtained the ERPA designation will be able to represent taxpayers before the IRS with respect to the following programs and issues: Determination letters; Plan corrections under the employee plans correction resolution system (EPCRS); Master and prototype and volume submitter programs; Form 5500 issues.
