Text of Social Security COLA-Adjusted Limits for 2009: 5.8% Benefit Increase; $106,800 OASDI Comp Cap

[Official Guidance] Oct. 16, 2008
Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries will receive a 5.8 percent COLA for 2009. The maximum taxable earnings for OASDI purposes will be $106,800.
