  1. The online internal revenue manual indicates that the written instruction which admittedly can be virtually anything, must be signed on or before the date which a contribution is deducted. That can be many months after the allocation.
  2. Pdfxchange activates the existing tab.
  3. Client, payroll firm, accountant, TPA or advisor located in a disaster area? You might have until 12/15 if so. Lots of facts unknown here but in general if the funds were legitimately removed from the plan sponsor's control the funds become plan assets at that time.
  4. I see no reason to have the same document opened in two windows. What am I missing? In the rare event you want to, as I think was mentioned above at some point, just open it once with one software program and then open it again in a different software program. Now you can move your windows any way you want.
  5. You are, because an LLC electing to be taxed as a sub-S is a sub-S.
  6. Cool. I used the same file in my presentation to ACOPA in 2017. The audience got a kick out of it.
  7. Disagree.5330 based on deductible not deducted.
  8. Agreed. But cya with reference to unknown future legislation or regulation.
  9. What Luke said.
  10. What was the date that they filed their 2018 tax return?
  11. 12/31/2025 would be my vote.
  12. Could have sworn the first word of the subject was control, not controlled. So, forget the rest of this paragraph. Pet peeve: there is no such thing as a control group, unless you are talking about a scientific experiment. Repeat after me: controlled group, controlled group. Not so hard, huh? But the way things are going for me today somebody is going to find some authoritative publication that uses the offending phrase! Serve me right for picking on the equivalent of grammar on the internet. Back to the question: no. It would fail all 401a4 and 410b tests.
  13. Horrible idea, every software should be able to sort chronologically without including the date in the file name itself.
  14. I think the underlying methodology is subject to scrutiny. If it is really a matching formula, then you have a contingent rule violation, because it isn't legally a match.
