  1. Yup. Nope. Except your 2 typos. Both places you have 3NHCEs should be 3HCEs.
  2. I think I've posted a spreadsheet that helps with the determination of the maximum, but does not address refinance payments. Maybe somebody else can post a link to the file.
  3. You are mistaken. Yes.
  4. Check the document. You may not need to specify the allocation in the terminating amendment. Our document allows for the discretionary allocation of excess assets on plan termination. If yours does too there's nothing left to do, document wise.
  5. Employees that take on the role of plan trustee and then terminate without communicating about the cessation of duties... deserve their fate? Maybe that's a bit harsh. But I think you know what I mean.
  6. Phooey!
  7. There is zero justification for reducing the annual 401a17 limit in this situation. $290,000.
  8. Doesn't the simple have a dating requirement with respect to the plan termination? I thought it was something like nine months.
  9. All. It is an IRS form, not a PBGC form.
  10. I'm not in a good mood today, I guess. Lou tried to put the baseball fan on a proper footing way back at the beginning of this thread. Doesn't seem like the fan was listening. The structure doesn't seem too complicated, other than accumulating the information necessary to make a proper determination.
  11. It is not so obvious to me. Why is it obvious to you?
  12. Who said he was terminated?
  13. Doesn't the new epcrs provide for telephonic discussions?
  14. Why wouldn't you use that for the 5500 also?
  15. The client needs to engage somebody to interface with the IRS that brings more lumber to the plate than they currently have.
  16. Must test separately.
