When I do a search, it comes up with a bunch of results. So I click on one of those results, and read it. When I'm done, how do I get back to the search results? When I hit the "back" button it takes me all the way back to the Forum, and I have to re-enter the search parameter. I'm sure there is a simpler way! Thanks.

I don't click on a search result - I "right click" on it and select "open in another tab".  Simple way to not lose your place....

May be a browser issue. If I do a search, click a link, then go BACK it takes me back to the search results. FWIW I'm using Chrome.

I use ctrl-click and it just opens it up in a new tab. Don't have to fuss with a drop-down menu and hit 'open in new window' by mistake.  Depending on your settings, it may just open a new tab and keep you where you are, or it may take you to the new tab.

I'm using Firefox.

And I'm happy to report that the "right click open in new window" approach works perfectly! Wish I hadn't waited so long to ask...thanks again!!

Use tabs.  It's much friendlier and easier to keep track of what's open.

"Middle click" - i.e., push in the scroll wheel - is a shortcut for open in new tab.

I agree this is the best way to browse multiple threads without losing your place in the search results.

Thanks C.B.!
